1.0 JOB IDENTIFICATION
Job Title : Process Improvement Manager
Supervisor : Process Development Manager
Team : Process Development
Location : Dalian, PRC
2.0 JOB SUMMARY
- Continuous improvement of all processes in the factory

3.0 KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
3.1 Education
- Bachelor degree or above with major in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
3.2 Knowledge / Skills
- Good knowledge of process Improvement
- Project management skills
- Problem solving skills
- Good coordination, interpersonal and communication skills
- Self driven personality and strong business focus
- Good command of both written and spoken English
- Good command of PC skills
3.3 Specific Experience
- Min. 8 years experience in industrial manufacturing, preferably in CNC-machine/Grinding machine / Heat Treatment
- At least 5 years of working experience in quality and process development area
4.0 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (Include but not limited)
- Continuous improvement of all processes in the factory
- Manage a team with specialist knowledge in all the different manufacturing processes
- Focus on the Soft Machining or Hard Marching or Assembly operations.
- Train Educate new engineers in the different processes
- Tools improvement, such as cutting insert, drilling, tool holders, grinding wheels, cutting parameters,
- Assembly area improvements, such as lifting devices, in-process measurement improvement, safety/environmental improvement, heat treatment parameter improvement etc.
- Machine precision improvement, due to quality follow up and Cp/Cpk values
- Machine improvements for reduced resetting time
- Assist in new product orders, prototype orders and releases, with focus on manufacturing technology
- Assist in planning of new production channels
