Technical Leader

This position is responsible for defining the technical roadmap of support/project teams and designing the architecture of IT systems including planning, analyzing, designing and realization of IT projects and services.

 

Key Responsibility

1. Coaching and mentoring of co-developers, assure knowledge transfer
2. Active support of requirements engineering, test and quality assurance process to guarantee that the requirements towards an IT Solution are clear and consistent
3. Devise and enforce architecture (in strong collaboration with the Service Manager)
4. Regular review of code and implementation quality to ensure that development best practices are adhered to ensure that the developed system adheres to the architecture
5. Develop and supervise metrics to reveal skill gaps, increase code quality and test coverage, organize refactoring to ensure continuous improvement
6. Manage interfaces between requirements and development of solution

7.        Strictly follow and comply with all the rules and regulation on DB Schenker Compliance Guideline.

 

Top Requirement

1. Minimum IT Bachelor Degree with 3 years in designing and implementing complex JEE (5 or higher) applications, at least partly in the role of a technical lead; or equivalent experience with minimum 5 years IT system development experience and at least 2 years in system design
2. Strong skills in database design and O/R mapping, in particular Hibernate/JPA
3. Understand principles of Service Orientation, Design and implementation of Web services
4. Knowledge of various test methods (Unit, Integration, Performance, Functional)
5. Thorough experience in the software development lifecycle to coach, guide, and support other team members
6. Ability to apply formal methods, tools and techniques
7. Experiences with Message oriented Middleware would be beneficial
8. Expert in given techniques including Java, .Net, Oracle, etc.
9. Knowledge in architecture design is essential
10. Must be able to communicate in written and oral English
11. Some travel may be required
