Technologist/programmer role:
• Position involves developing trading and research technology on Linux-based servers
• Must be a motivated self-starter who is able to complete tasks quickly and accurately, and willing to experiment with new technologies
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in math, science, or engineering-related field
• Able to converse and write daily emails and reports in English
• 1-to-2 years SQL programming experience. Must be able to develop/write schemas.
• 1+ years experience developing web-based reporting applications.
• Following skills are not required, but considered a plus:
• C++ (Boost/ STL) or Java programming experience
• Perl or Python, sh/Bash scripts development experience
• Basic networking and systems administration knowledge
• Experience developing financial reporting applications
• Familiarity with large data sets, real-time market data, and FIX/CTP data protocols
