Sitelead for overall Data Center services with hands-on skills in HP-UX/Storage/Network
Skills - Lead:
• Experience leading a team ofUNIX, Storage, Network and Windows.
• Prior experience operating in onsite-Offshore model
• Strong in customer and people management
• Experience handling transition of DC Services in an outsourced environment will be desired.
Skills - Technical:
• Hands on experience managing HP UX/Network/Storage/windows Systems.
• Installing, configuring and maintaining UNIX and Windows Servers
• Working knowledge of major storage vendors technology and products including EMC (VMAX/Symmetric)
• backup technology experience using Netbackup with a clear understanding of data & systems recovery technologies
• Working Knowledge on networks based on T1, DS3, Fiber / Optical, DSL,
Ethernet, ATM, Frame Relay, and Ethernet over Copper core, distribution,
and access media
• Patch and Package administration
• Writing shell scripts to accomplish day to day system administration task
• Troubleshooting Hardware and Operating system related issue
• Capacity planning and fine tune system for optimal performance
• Configuring Unix Security baseline
