Intellectual Property Specialist

Location: Nanjing, China 

Job Description:
1) Carry out in- licensing activities of cutting-edge technologies.
2) Support process of patent application and trademark registration, and coordinate the work between inventors and IP attorney.
3) Analyze IP landscape of technologies and provide IP consultation to internal R&D, production and marketing teams.
4) Develop IP related policies, provide IP trainings and implement other IP protection measures to ensure the best IP practices across the company.
5) Manage the company’s IP portfolio, including files, records, payment, and procedure deadlines of patents, licenses and trademarks.

Qualifications:
1) Ph.D. in Biology or Biology related majors
2) Strong technical experience in biological technologies
3) Good internet and database research and analytic skills
4) Excellent communication skills, both oral and written skills in Chinese and English
5) Strong interpersonal skills
6) Ability to effectively work both individually and as a member of a team
7) Ability to exercise sound judgment and execute against deliverables under tight deadlines and competing priorities 
8) Quick-learner and excellent organizer with strong attention to detail
9) IP related knowledge or IP work experience a plus

Service Marketing Specialist (Japan)

Location: Nanjing, China

Position Scope/Objective:
The position is to articulate market information with in-house production capability and come up service packages which can capture market opportunities. This position also acts as an important channel for the related business unit by generating market awareness and demand at global level.

Responsibilities:
1. Develop a radar screen to collect such market information as number of competitors, who the major global and domestic players are, their pricing and channel strategy
2. Work with VoC (voice of customer) Specialist to collect customers’ opinion (buying behavior, criteria of purchase decision, pricing acceptance, product package, etc) and identify new business opportunities
3. Follow and monitor the related technology development & application trends
Requirements:
1. Ph.D. degree in biological science discipline, preferably at academic institutes from Japan.
2. JLPT1 and CET6. Good command of communication.
3. Demonstrated sense of marketing concept (4Ps).
