Job Description          

Drive development projects. A typical development project is the release of a new xDSL gateway, or of a new software release for existing xDSL gateways. A wide range of specialists are involved in the development process: systems architecture, software, hardware, system integration test, industrialization, technical writing etc.

•Identify, plan, coordinate and follow up of all project-related activities.

• Anticipate potential problems and initiate necessary correctives actions.

•Manage of the project budget

•Coordinate relevant people to ensure on time high quality delivery of the project, including, development team lead, testing team lead, hardware team lead, system engineer, product manager and program manager and etc.

•Assure that project development complies with predefined quality standards. 

 

Candidate Profile    Education

•Master’s degree (or similar by experience) in IT / Electrical Engineering or related discipline with at least 5 years working experience, or Bachelor degree with at least 8 years working experience.

Language

•Fluent both in written and oral English is mandatory

 

Working Experience

•3+ years experience in hardware/software design and development of embedded systems.

•2+ years experience in project or resource management.

•Experience in development of Wireless/xDSL or STB products is a strong plus.

•Experience of full product life-cycle implementation including, design (spec drafting), development, testing and delivery is a strong plus.

•Experience with change management, documentation and version control/migration is a strong plus.

•Experience managing an external ODM or major component sub-contractor is a plus.

•Quality management experience is a plus. 

 

Technical Skills

•Knowledge and experience in project management.

•Knowledge of embedded systems

•Knowledge of HW design

•Knowledge of SW development and testing

•Knowledge of agile development processes
