Qualifications
1. Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in a technical support role, working with relevant
technologies
2. BA/BS degree or equivalent experience preferred
3. Layer 4-7 Application Knowledge: HTTP, DNS, FTP, SSL
4. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of TCP/IP and UDP
5. Experience in troubleshooting client/server issues
6. Experience in using sniffer technologies or packet tracing technologies such as
WireShark, Ethereal, TCP dump, etc.
7. VLANs and Routing (Layer 2 + 3)
8. Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems down to the packet level
9. At least one UNIX variant: Linux, BSD, Solaris, HU/UX, etc.
10. Proficiency with Windows NT, 2000, XP, or 2003
11. VLAN – setup and implantation
12. Must be able to read, write and speak English and Mandarin fluently.
