POSITION TITLE:

Sales Manager

DEPARTMENT:

Greater China Sales Department

REPORTS TO:

Country Manager – China

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITY:

·       Territorial product coverage in Greater China for:

o        Production and Drilling Chokes – Manual and Actuated

o        Specialty Control Valves – Manual and Actuated

o        Subsea Production Chokes

o        Individual Valve Component Parts

·       Key contact for other regions, customers and/or alliance partners as assigned

·       In conjunction with the Vice President Eastern Hemisphere Operations, establish and manage annual sales and expense budgets for assigned territory, and ensure targets are met.

·       Evaluate the competitive environment on a continual basis, and strategize the acquisition of new customers/business opportunities.

·       Maintain/grow business with existing customers through strong customer relations.

·       Pro-actively communicate with peers and office colleagues concerning pertinent market and customer intelligence related to pricing, specifications, market and product development trends, etc.

KEY POSITION FUNCTIONS:

·      Evaluate market opportunities with respect to fit for Master Flo applications.

·       Present recommendations and strategies on how to penetrate existing and new markets.

·       Establish effective credibility and rapport with key agents and customer contacts.

·       Seek to influence a positive position for Master Flo products during project specification stage.

·       Effectively troubleshoot customer issues, and rectify concerns in a pro-active manner.

·       Monitor bid and proposal activity.   Provide assistance with the preparation, presentation, and negotiation of quotations as required.

·       Ensure that Company interests, proprietary and confidential information, and property is protected to the fullest extent.

·       Maintain a high level of technical understanding of Master Flo product lines.  Develop and deliver technical presentations.

·      Complete regular and detailed sales reports and submit as directed or required.

·      Minute and action any issues with respect customer concerns/ complaints, scope change, etc.

·       Maintain detailed contact database.

·       Coordinate and represent Master Flo at industry gatherings as required.

·       Identify potential new Agents as required.

·       Liaise and support Agents in order to ensure the optimization of Agent efforts and success on behalf of Master Flo.

·       Ensure all interaction and communication with Agents represents legitimate and ethical business activities.

QUALIFICATION &

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

·       Preferable Chinese national, based in Beijing.

·       University Degree or Post Secondary Diploma in Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering, or equivalent amount of experience and education.

·       Five years technical sales experience in the oil and gas industry preferable, with a proven track record for penetrating markets and effective customer relations.

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong English language skills, high level of self motivation, strong self organization and time management abilities.

·       Expertise in coordinating bid and proposal activity.

·       Extensive travel when required.

·       Proficient in office communications and software.

·       A commitment to workplace health and safety.

POSITION TITLE:

Sales Engineer / Application Engineer

DEPARTMENT:

Greater China Sales Department

REPORTS TO:

Country Manager – China

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITY:

·       Responsible for primary technical support for representative office.

·       To assist the managers with the sizing and selection of valves.

·       To support the agents/representatives as when required.

·       To assist in the daily admin duties as deem necessary.

·       Maintain/grow business with existing customers through strong customer relations.

·       Pro-actively communicate with peers and office colleagues concerning pertinent market and customer intelligence related to pricing, specifications, market and product development trends, etc.
