Responsibilities:
• Play a primary role in designing and executing quality control and characterization strategies for recombinant proteins and antibodies to ensure integrity of purified proteins.
• Develop and implement state-of-the-art analytical methods covering a wide array of techniques including but not limited to HPLC/UPLC, DLS, DFS, and CE
• Design and execute lab-scale and throughput protein purification and characterization
• Work closely with cross functional team members to provide scientific expertise and insights
Qualifications:
• Ph.D. in analytical chemistry, biophysics, biochemistry or related fields with minimum 2 years of postdoc training or industrial working experience
• Passion for proteins and in-depth understanding of protein biophysical properties
• Strong knowledge and skills in biochemical characterization of proteins including analytical and biophysical techniques
• Solid background and proficiency in method development using HPLC and UPLC
• Hand-on experience in protein purification and biochemical assay development
• Knowledge and experience in protein pre-formulation and other protein characterization technologies as DLS, UV/Vis, DFS CE, CD, and ITC will be plus
• Proactive and collaborative to work in a dynamic, innovative, and interdependent research environment
• Excellent communication skills in English
